I got an e-mail this morning wondering would I advertise this project for W Productions. It’s a project to produce a short piece of film to promote peace, unity and ambition. Also, do not forget the Berlin Film Festival, I just came back from Berlin and it kick ass – even if its was freezing cold there. The food there is as cheap as Mexico, and they have a range of Indie Cinemas that rock.

The world's first international script-to-screen competition, begun in 2000 as Flicks on 66. The annual festival conducts a worldwide search for short film scripts and selects seven winners. The writers are then brought to Albuquerque in July to shoot, edit and premiere their movies -- in just one week. Held in late March, located in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Ma, a celebration of the bizarre and insane. The Boston Underground Film Festival was birthed from the filthy brain of founder David Kleiler way back in 1998. All wet and slippery straight from the mind-womb, the festival began life as an all-night film marathon run by Kleiler and longtime festival pal Dima Ballin. This informal event quickly grew into the first annual Boston Underground Film Festival held at the Revolving Museum in South Boston. Programmer Bernard Broginart described this first annual gathering as "a wonderful hoax of a film festival." We'd like to think that things have come a long way since then.
